Easy to install and highly efficient, the AE Model Super-Solenoid is strong but also surprisingly gentle in action, so it won’t damage hand-made or fine scale turnouts like conventional solenoids do. It also has a gentle latching spring so it is equally comfortable with loose-blade turnouts or those that have tie-bar springs. Even hand made turnouts with one-piece point blades are held in position well & work as they should!
